Your sign-in session is kept by Supabase in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) so you stay logged in. During checkout, Stripe may set __stripe_mid cookies for fraud prevention. These are essential for the app to function and do not require consent.

Preferences (No Cookies)

Your currency and date format preferences are saved to your WealthTimeline account, not to cookies or device storage, so they follow you across devices.

Analytics (Only With Your Permission)

A basic, privacy-friendly analytics script from Vercel counts page views and measures performance. It is not loaded at all unless you accept it in the consent banner.

Your Consent Choice (Browser Local Storage, Not a Cookie)

Your analytics choice is stored in your browser's local storage under the name consent.analytics — it is not a cookie.

4. What We Do NOT Use Cookies For

We do not use cookies to serve advertisements, track you across other websites, build advertising profiles, share data with data brokers, or monitor your behaviour outside WealthTimeline.

5. Your Consent & Choices

When you first visit WealthTimeline, a consent banner appears asking about analytics. Because analytics is the only optional tool we use, the choice is simple — two buttons: Accept (allow our basic, privacy-friendly analytics) or Reject (decline; nothing optional is loaded). Your choice is remembered in local storage, and you can change it at any time via the Cookie Settings link in the footer.
